We are introducing a new approach to achieve level 3 skills. This will involve establishing a long-term relationship where we can dedicate more time to thoroughly explore each topic in the curriculum. This approach allows us to focus more on your individual needs rather than solely on assessment.
By completing the following, we can award you a Paddle Canada Level 3 Skills when you have completed all the required benchmarks.Â

2. Introduction to Surf and Forecasting Weather
3. A Level 3 Instructional Tour - See Options Below
4. A level 3 Preparation course or attending the Big Water Gathering
5. A written test.

We will also incorporate opportunities to coach courses. There is no better way to improve your skills than to coach new participants.Â

Alternatively, we also offer the traditional 5-day Level 3 Assessment. This option would be best for candidates who are highly prepared, have extensive experience doing expeditions, and can confidently roll.
