Level 2 is your next step. Level 1 gave you the fundamental tools; this is where you learn to put them to use in coastal conditions. Over the course, you’ll sharpen your strokes, practice re-entries, and start to explore the basics of marine navigation.
The goal is to help you feel ready for coastal kayaking adventures — touring in a group, camping under the stars, exploring new shorelines, and navigating across the Great Lakes and beyond with confidence.
Level 2 Course Options
1. Base Camp / Lodge
Tobermory, 1000 Islands, Lake Superior, or Nova Scotia

Ideal for those who prefer comfortable accommodations instead of backcountry camping, and who want to focus on individual skill development in a coastal setting.

2. Course-Based Instructional Touring
Fox Islands, Franklin, Mink, McCoy

Perfect for paddlers who want to learn in a backcountry setting, gain experience in more rugged conditions, and explore remote coastal areas.

3. Park and Play
