The Saugeen Peninsula near Tobermory is a premier destination for sea kayaking. It offers beautiful campsites, stunning cliffs, and challenging sea states. The area also provides opportunities for hiking and paddling, ranging from easy day trips to multi-day adventures along the dramatic coast of the Saugeen Peninsula. Our trip will take us from Tobermory with stops at Beachy Bay, High Dump, Wingfield Basin and back.

This adventure is designed for sea kayakers who have taken Level 2 and have experience paddling in coastal conditions. The area is very exposed and can be quite challenging at times.

DESCRIPTION:

Tobermory with stops at High Dump, Wingfield Basin and back.

PRICE INCLUDES:

• Small groups lead by experienced Paddle Canada coaches. Max 3:1 ratio.
• All meals during the trip. (Days 1-5). Excluding Day 1 breakfast.
• Camping and accommodations including the evening before launch.
• Park permits and platforms reservation.
• All common camping gear (tarps, etc.).
• Please note: there is no Paddle Canada certification offered on instructional tours. However, it is a sanctioned clinic that will help you prepare for levels 3 and 4.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

• Transportation to put in.
• Snacks. 
• Personal paddling Clothing (dry suit or neoprene & paddle jacket combination, etc).   

ITINERARY:

• Day 0 : Meet Up at Mountian Trout Camp
  
• Day 1 – 5 : Explore on the water.
• Day 5 : Last Kayak Day. Take Out at Tobermory and go for Tacos!
