Level 1 is where your sea kayaking journey begins. Over a few days on the water, you’ll learn the strokes, rescues, and trip-planning skills that make paddling safe and enjoyable in calm, sheltered conditions.

The goal is to give you the confidence to spend a full day on the water — paddling with a group, exploring nearby shorelines, and starting to see what adventures are possible when you have the fundamentals in place.
