Join Kayak Ontario for a group paddle on the Great Lakes. These day trips are a chance to explore beautiful coastal areas, meet other paddlers, and build confidence in open water.

Details

• All-day paddle in Class 2 coastal conditions (weather-dependent; location may change)
• Pack your own lunch

Skill Level

• Open to paddlers with Level 1 skills or higher
• Designed for those working toward or consolidating Level 2
• Supportive, inclusive environment; perfect for gaining confidence before heading out with friends or stepping into the next course

Gear

• Kayak with two sealed bulkheads (rentals available)
• Drysuit required
• If bringing your own: pump, whistle, 15m floating rope, paddle, PFD, sunscreen, water, and snacks

Note: Gear options (kayak and drysuit rentals) will be provided in your course pack after registration. This keeps the base price flexible for paddlers with their own equipment while ensuring premium rentals are available for those who need them.

Rental-to-Own Credit
Try before you buy. If you rent a drysuit for your course, your rental fee will be credited toward the purchase of a new drysuit from Kayak Ontario within the same season. It’s a simple way to test our premium gear with no risk if you decide to invest in your own.

We believe this experience should be fun, inclusive, and positive. We’ll incorporate games, group activities, and real-world scenarios as much as possible. You won’t be put on the spot, asked to demonstrate in front of the group (unless you want to), or made to speak in front of crowds.
