Paddle Canada’s Level 2 is an intermediate kayaking course. This course is for paddlers looking to explore out into the Haro and Johnstone Strait. You will add to the foundational skills learned in Level 1 during this course. 

The Discovery Islands are well known as a scenic, serene island featuring trails for hiking & mountain biking, as well as the world renowned Surge Narrows. It is a paradise for sea kayaking if you have the proper skills and gear. We will thoroughly explore the area while learning kayak skills.

    • Day Paddle to the Octopus Islands (Group Navigation Challenge)

Price includes:
  • A sea kayak, with 2 bulkheads. 
  • Dry suits are available to rent if required.
  • Food is included. You will need to bring your own snacks and lunches.

Not included:

  • Transportation to Discovery Island Lodge on Quadra Island in British Columbia.

This program includes 4 nights in the lodge; please note that participants are responsible for their own transportation.
